I booked a guest room with a balcony and effective Wi-Fi. The location of the property was good and excellent, in the new town area of Fez. Besides, it was right by taxi, the Medina and other Fes attractions, and the very centre of the Ville Nouvelle.

Location: the hotel was close enough to wonderful cafes and shops, the lovely boulevard and Morocco in October...

This hotel is a great value for money! I really loved the location; it's super close to shops, the city center, and public transport. Plus, the street views were fantastic. Being so near the airport was definitely a bonus! 😊.

I liked the area as it was very central and felt very safe. I liked the view from the breakfast restaurant. I liked having a TV in the room and found the beds comfortable.
I was not happy that on the morning I went to reception to check out and was told that my bill was 110 Euros. When I booked the room, my booking confirmation told me that the price was 92 Euros plus 2.4 Euros city tax. I was therefore not impressed to be told by one staff member that I had to pay 110 Euros. another staff member agreed that my bill was 94.4 Euros but by then I could not pay as the original staff member had started to cash up the till and would not let me pay till she had finished. I felt that this was rude. All she said to me was that I could pay by visa as I did not have enough Euros, when I was in the right and had sufficient Euros to pay the bill. I gave her 95 Euros and she refused to give me change.

The hotel is located very close from the main street of Fes. I had a room on the first floor with a nice view of the roundabout with a fountain in the middle.
The lamp that enlightens the front door was broken, the only one on that floor. I wasn't able to see where to put my card in. Also, the hotel has only one working WiFi accesspoint with a weak signal. The one on the sixth floor doesn't even work.

Within relatively easy reach of local restaurants, short taxi ride from the medina. Staff will organise grand taxi for individaul tours
Being on 6th floor we were woken by the noise form the panoramic restaurant above every morning

We got room just above main street. It hapen also in other hotels, but this hotel window had almost no sound insulation, so it felt like sleeping in the middle of the road. Terrible. A/C was possible to turn on only by hotel staff for selected time, becuse remote was kept at reception.
